During my recent business trip to Brenzone sul Garda, my director chose Residence Castelli as our accommodation. And boy, were we in for a treat! The sweeping views across the lake from the balconies and swimming pool were absolutely breathtaking. I found myself mesmerized by the beauty of the surroundings every single day. Plus, the hotel's small beach with its own pier was a lovely place to unwind after a busy day of meetings and work.
Nothing that I didn't like.

It was okay
I did not like the fact that I had to pay an extra 19Euro for my 6yr old daughter to stay in the room with us. There was already an extra bed in the room, as there are in all of the rooms and I did not request any additional bedding or anything for her. I was told I assume by the owner that they had to charge it for breakfast, which she did not eat. I thought 76Euro was enough to pay for one night without the additional 19Euro charge. It did not say on my reservation that I would be charged extra.....

View of Lake Garda
Staff, with exception of one, generally rude and unhelpful. Hotel lake view rooms overlook the main road which is very noisey both day and night. This was made worse by loose fitting window in bathroom. I could not recommend anyone to stay in one of these rooms. I would not stay in this hotel again.

stayed in a nice apartment with all necessary amenities, including a large fridge and washing machine. The view of the lake and mountains from the balcony was great. The pool was nice and the place was clean. Can fully recommend for longer stays.
no nearby restaurants or shops

The hotel was in a good location and the swimming pool was clean and had good views over the lake.
The rooms badly need air conditioning, also we had a shared balcony/terrace which was not ideal. also the sofa bed was very uncomfortable as were the pillows. The room needed a microwave as there was only a 2 ring hob which was not suitable for a family of 4 to cook on.

I just came back from my vacation at Lagi di Garda. The hotel was very nice and extremely clean! The first 3 days I had a room with the mountain view. It was very quite and big. The forth day I had to move to the lake view room. The view is breathtaking!!!! Each room has a queen bed and a side bed. The hotel has gorgeous gardens and a beautiful pool on the hill. Also, there is a bar by the pool. The beach is right across the street. Very relaxing. I enjoyed my stay to the fullest!!! Oh yeah, and the breakfast was ok, typically Italian. I loved their expresso! The staff is great!
The only thing I didn't like was the position of the hotel. It's faraway from the nearest port, restaurants. We had to walk 2 km to get to a restaurant. It's a nice walk though on the lakeshore. If you have a car, then it's perfect! If you don't have a car then I'd suggest a hotel in a another area.

Hotel was nicely situated on the shore of Lago di Garda. Unfortunatley the hotel is not on the lake side of the main road, i.e you have to cross the road to get to the lake. Nice pool area. If you are travelling with small children you might find all the stairs a bit irritating.

We had a wonderful stay at Residence Castelli for 3 nights. The apartment exceeded our expectations with its beautiful views of the lake and mountains. The helpful staff made our stay even more enjoyable. The proximity to the lake and the small pebbled beach was a highlight. The apartment itself was clean, well-equipped, and had good air conditioning. The terrace was spacious and provided a perfect spot to relax. a great value for a relaxing vacation.
We recommend this hotel.

Good location, spacious room and tremendous view.
In spite of good location, spacious room and tremendous view we were very disappointed by staying in this hotel. Firstly, we got an extra bed in our room that we haven’t asked. Right away we were warned that if we were noticed by using it we would pay. Nice greeting! Secondly, the breakfast was very poor: no fresh croissants, no good coffee, just canned food from supermarket. We asked to exclude breakfasts from our booking but the owner refused. For a long time he was proving that breakfast was included in price rather than to sort out the problem and solve it. If only we knew that we would spend every morning in search for a good cup of coffee and croissant around here! We would have booked apartment without meal then! It was our first experience when owners were interested in making profit by all means instead of trying to please their guests and improve their service.

clean apartment - right next to the lake - great for exploring the area. Helpful and friendly staff answered all our questions.
